Once again, Bellingham hosted the League superbly, giving us a course in lovely condition and with friendly and helpful service in the Clubhouse. They managed a simple return of scores to the WHS despite the chopping and changing of Clubs prior to the event and even laid on great weather with a suitably challenging breeze to keep players honest!
The best gross score, two clear of the field, being three over par serves to illustrate how the course held a real challenge for the the players.
The only thing spoiling the day, somewhat, was the failure of two League Clubs to field a team at all! A sad thing when a Club can't find two players to represent them.
On the positive side, though, once again, we have Bellingham to thank for giving up their course for the afternoon (on a competition day, too) and looking after us so well.
Thank you Bellingham!
