The Past Captains' Trophy is a singles, stableford competition played between Past Captains of the League, current Captains and Vice Captains.
Play is from the yellow tees for men and the red tees for ladies.
Each gender uses their own hole indexes according to the tee being played.
Handicap allowance uses each player's WHS Handicap Index and is set at 95% of Course Handicap.
Under the 2024 rules, when there is a mixed field playing a stableford competition, course rating adjustment shots are not required as the 'course rating minus par' addition to the handicap calculation takes care of the differences between tees automatically.
Players are not responsible for calculating stableford points or adding the scores. Any errors made for these items will not be penalised.
In the event of a tie the winner is selected by countback using the back 9, back 6, back 3, then the stoke indices
